master study

after what felt like an eternity i finally found the time to sketch in photoshop again. it's a very rough stage of a master study of lawrence alma tadema's "portrait of a woman". it's a style that i enjoy practising - a little bit like godward (a study of "la dolce far niente" is in my blipfolio).

i want to get back to the lady and refine the painting later, but for today that's what i came up with. :)
