Winter heather

Glorious sunshine today even though it was pretty nippy. I should have been out making the most of it but the furthest I got was the garden.

The winter flowering heather seems to have suddenly burst forth in bloom, both purple and white, as you can see here.

(I must still be in pantomime mode as the individual florets remind me of dame's bloomers!)

I have spent the afternoon enjoying the warmth of the sun in the conservatory doing something I rarely allow myself in the day. Reading! After a hectic few days and a heavy night in the pub, after two Panto performances yesterday, it was very relaxing.


A few days to chill before doing it all again next weekend!
