Shadows on a blippet

Another early morning walk in the sunshine with the blippet and a quick pause on the same bridge as yesterday. No labradors but plenty of shadows and something caught her attention in the field when I grabbed this shot.

Later there was much excitement at Eve's first competitive game of football. Not the result she wanted as they were beaten by Spartans who have a much more established girls team. They stayed back for training afterwards to get the defeat off their minds and me and Joe kicked a ball around in the corner while we waited. Then it was a quick sprint back home, an even faster dip in the bath and then Eve was off again to carry on a film project she has been working on with a pal.

Ruby is now back home after a sleep over, the brisket is filling the house with lovely smells and there's a bottle of red wine demanding my attention.
