Took daughter number two to see the Dark Knight today. Overall it was pretty good and probably the best of the Batman films so far. Heath Ledger's joker was excellent, though I'm still working out how he managed to put together all his exploits within the given timeframe. The only criticisms I did have were Christian Bale's Batman voice and the film dragging towards the end.
Sitting through the end credits, I was hoping to see a credit for Frank Miller who completely revitalised the Batman character with his 'The Dark Knight Returns' graphic novel and which seems to provide much of the inspiration for the current film. As far as I could see there was none with Director Chris Nolan taking most of the credit, which is a shame as Miller deserves it!
