Ely Cathedral

We were up and about early this morning so thought I would take the children to the morning service at Ely Cathedral and have a look at the famous Quaker Tapestry. The children were absolutely fab throughout the service then we went on the hunt for the Tapestry. I had been harping on about all morning and getting them really excited about seeing it..... As it happens it's not able to be viewed on a Sunday, LIVID!!

Such an amazing building, I remember being taken when I was a child and being bored stiff but the children seemed really impressed! May is still a little cross that she didn't get to see Rapunzel there (?!)

Colin is still out, a quiet pint down The Crown on his way back home.... I have a feeling this will turn into a Sunday session!!!
