SOMETIMES I SIT AND THINK....

Sometimes I just sit....

The morning sunlight through the office window beams on a Marine Map of the West Coast of Scotland, somewhere I'd loved to be when the weather is like this. Working from home means I can sit and daydream any time I like and what better than to gaze on maps on the wall and do a bit of imaginary travelling.

Already a life consuming project is to visit as many of the islands as I can using MacBraynes ships and other ferries. And I have a long way to go!

My other wall maps currently are of Australia. I'm trying to drive as much of Australia's coast as I can. This year I hope to complete the 2500 miles east coast drive between Daintree in the north and Port Fairy, west of Melbourne by doing the Cairns to Brisbane leg - cancelled last year because of the floods.
