The Precious Pearls of Milarepa

Today we went to the Crystal Castle to check out the sacred relics.

I thought it was going to be old artifacts like tingsa (bells) ...statues and the like.

AMAZING.....what I learned was that whenever an enlightened master left his body he would leave behind 'pearls'........these are what were for viewing today.

This is not a very good photo...I was lucky to get this...(I was allowed to take it) but I really wanted to share this with you.

Not only did we get to see the 'pearls' of many Masters we were privileged to be blessed by the pearl of the Buddha.

All in all a splendid day but happy to be home now.
