Supervising the shopping

I found the perfect route through to Oxford today, but I probably won't have to use it again since Scott and his family are moving in a couple of weeks. Typical!

It was fab to catch up with them all. Young Alfie has grown so strong - I could barely keep a hold of him when I took him out of the shopping trolley seat. He's hasn't reached the grand old age of one yet and he's already got the better of his auntie. However, we made up over buttered toast a little later. I'm used to cats, dogs and guinea pigs wanting food whenever I have something, but not a wee boy. He practically climbed up my legs to get at my toast, then stood there with his mouth open, demanding tidbits. I now know a little about what mother birds experience.
