What a view

This is the view from the balcony of my Auckland hotel room at 1 a.m. this morning. The hotel might have been a major disappointment but the view was fantastic. The harbour bridge and sky tower in one direction, Rangitoto Island and the harbour straight ahead and open sea to the right. Wow.

We went to Roger Waters "The Wall" show last night and it was so fantastic that we had to sit up rehashing it song by song before we could wind down enough to get some sleep. Ignore what they've said on the Stuff website (NZ media site) - I was there and I know different!

Flew back into Christchurch about 1pm then drove back to Murchison where we then met up with a british blipper (Foxy's Folio) and his wife for dinner and drinks. Great to meet other blippers and talk facts, photos and life with them. Thanks K and T - a great evening.
