Electric Taxi Ride

After a bash at the Shenzhen Sheraton Hotel I had my first ride in an electric taxi. It was smooth, roomy and of course quiet.

This electric taxi is part of the world's largest fleet of electric taxis and they are made in Shenzhen by a company called BYD.

Never heard of BYD? I'm sure you will do over the coming decade. Warren Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway has invested US$232 million in BYD.
