Macbeth

Went to see the Icarus Theatre Collective Macbeth tonight with M and some of her classmates.

Very impressive, engaging performance in the tiny Georgian Theatre at Richmond to an audience with an unusually high proportion of teenagers (something to do with GCSE perhaps?). With a cast of 7, one of whom had to stay as Macbeth throughout, there were some very ingenious and quite persuasive character changes and some clever stage devices to add extra structure to the plot.

M and her friends all loved it and I didn't hear one complaint about the 18th century seating. This photo has nothing whatsoever to do with Macbeth. I took it earlier in the day while walking in Gilling woods.
