Party

After working a twelve and a half hour shift on the birth unit today, I then headed for a 30th birthday party.

Long story but:
About 7 years ago I looked after a lady in labour and was the midwife in attendance at the birth of her third baby.
Then 3 years ago I again was privileged to be the midwife in attendance at the birth of her 4th baby.
In between the 2 births I discovered she was the wife of my 'son-in-laws' cousin-hope you are all keeping up!!!!!

Today was here 30th birthday party-a lovely end to my day on the birth unit-At the party she presented me with a lovely bottle of wine for being the best midwife in Solihull-What an honor.
I am of course having to sample the wine.
