color contrast
The skies have been gray here for two days running...HOORAY! I am not grumbling at all. Not only did it give me a very restful night of sleep with the rain and thunder rumbling above and hitting the windows of my bedroom, but we are in such desperate need of rain that I don't think I will ever really complain about it. (I am grateful, however, that the forecast for tomorrow's run is sunny...and cool! Perfect! And I am even feeling better - gratitude all around for that!)
I was expecting to see the puddles that I did when I emerged from my house this morning, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that it had also rained yellow flowers. All over the wall outside of my house and to the ground below. Such a beautiful remnant of the storm last night. And such a lovely contrast to the gray above.
