This is the only piece of artwork by me on the wall. It's an etching
which I made at school in 1986. I have a feeling I made it for my Mum
but it somehow managed to make its way back to me. L had it mounted
and framed. I remember making it, copying the picture from a magazine
cutting onto a copper plate. My art teacher at the time was Mr Clulow.
He was a very nice man and after I left school sadly heard that he
died which was way too young. The etching process if scraping and
dipping in acid is pretty interesting. I only ever got to do it once.
Its not great but it's by me which is what matters.
