Snowy hills again!
The forecast predicted snow in Scotland, but we have been lulled into a false sense of Spring over the last few days, with blue skies, sunshine and temperatures into double (just) figures.
Not so today. A bitingly cold wind with flurries of snow greeted us this morning! Daughter just home from Australia, wanted to revisit one of her favourite places - Loch Turret Reservoir. So, this afternoon we set off.
We knew it was going to be VERY COLD. And it was - VERY COLD!
The fiercest of winds almost blew us away and as can be seen, there were waves on the loch. I was buffeted about so much that it's a surprise any of my photos turned out, as well as watering eyes in the icy blast, I could hardly see anything!
However, as the sun was beginning to think about dipping, it caught the waves at the water's edge and softly highlighted the tops of the hills nearby.
