Party day

I got all the things he requested:
Balloons (regular, light up, floaty)
A biscuit house with a chocolate roof and smarties and stars
Wobbly jelly ( it transpired it was too wobbly to eat. It wasn't very wobbly by jelly standards)
And a chocolate cake ( which he also didn't eat, as he doesn't like cake)

And some things I know he likes:
A pass the parcel
A balloon piñata (dave was rescued before its brutal end)
Birthday crackers (he loves crackers) with paper crowns
Lots of friends with lovely presents!

Most of all a lovely daddy that made a delicious spread even though he was Ill, and my lovely friends who helped me through my ineffectual Hostessing and the tidying up.
