A simple twist of fence

This hedge around a local hospital has been lovingly fashioned in the traditional way, the intertwining branches catching the light and almost sparkling as you walk along.

Unfortunately, the powers that be have decided that, as a fence it is a bit winsome [?] and so they have erected an horrid green powder coated steel fence just in front of it . I had to take this shot through it.
