A rare sight these days, but how many spotty back street heroes must have watched Easy Rider & then rushed out to fit apehanger handlebars & highway footpegs to their asthmatic 125s & 250s, confident that they would bestow some Peter Fonda cool, before heading out on the highway, lookin' for adventure?
Instead they would have discovered, as an icy British wind blew up their flares, that they had merely turned themselves into fly-spattered human windsocks...
