RIP Biomass Power Plant....

For the last year or so we have had the spectre of Forth Ports building a huge biomass power plant on our front doorstep. This pic is taken from our balcony - and this is the building that they were proposing to demolish and replace with the power plan. Included 120 metre chimney as well.

Couldn't have been much closer to out house.

Got great news a couple of weeks ago - plans cancelled :-) Yay. Been meaning to blip this ever since and it's such a lovely day out in Leith today I though I would give it a go.

Spent the day relaxing - going to cook beef with peas, potato and ginger later on for our dinner and maybe a cheeky glass of vino or two.
