There and back again

The Warren House Inn

The white walls of The Warren House Inn reflect the early morning light and the surrounding country side emphasizes its remote location in the centre of Dartmoor.

Originally built on the other side of the road the story goes that the fire has been kept lit since 1845 and when the premises was moved, the fire was carried across to the new one.

The building belongs to the Duchy of Cornwall (Prince Charles) and the surrounding area was once the centre of much tin mining with Birch Tor, Vitifer and Golden Dagger mines being located within a short distance.
