Not a happy captain.
I asked him how business had been.
"The weather's been shite," he said. "I've told the grandkids not to expect any Christmas presents."
On a different note: A "right on" nod in the direction of Isaac Hayes.
I played my only Isaac Hayes CD in the car today as a mark of respect to a great artist and interpreter of other people's music and cartoon ideas.
B reminded me that Isaac was one of the names I came up with for Arthur.
Like every other parent you have to chose a name, that in your mind at least, has positive emotional references.
