New Buffalo

The more I visit the west coast of Michigan, the more I love it. The small towns by Lake Michigan give off a friendly, relaxing vibe with all their beach cottages, ma-n-pa shops, and proximity to water.

I went with Ryan and his dad to his aunt's and uncle's Michigan cottage today. We hung out in their backyard and strolled on the beach to the annual event-of-the-year festival downtown. Of course I had to photograph some seagulls. I wonder if the seagulls we saw on the beach came from Chicago, as the city is only across the lake.

I had a good time. Ryan's family is so nice!
