Icing on the cake

Today was a lovely day, spent over at my in-laws. Mainly for the benefit of Son of Mine who wanted to learn how to make icing flowers for cake decoration from Grandma - but we all had fun rolling, cutting and glueing (with edible glue of course!) to make filler flowers, fuschias, roses and leaves!

The clutter we created on the kitchen table of tupperware boxes, cutters, mats, icing equipment and rolling pins seemed to lend itself to an old fashioned effect being applied to this photo...
