cherry plum
A dull morning, and a damp afternoon.
I was delighted to find this lovely shrub flowering, I had forgotten about it for some reason. It has wine red foliage and all the buds are pink but the small delicate flowers open to a soft papery white, very pretty. Though it sadly goes by the unlovely name of Prunus pissardii.
Shrub planting and hedge repair continues.
The grass is getting uncomfortably long and the ground has stopped squelching after these few dry days and so I was hoping to get the mower out tomorrow, but not if the rain is back to stay.
