The reader

He seemed quite content, sitting on a town centre bench, lost in his book with the world bustling by.
But thats the simple beauty of books. No low battery warning, no recharging, no fear of dropping, nice and cheap and easy. We are becoming iPad obsessed, and fine gadgets though they are, sometimes just a book will do.
I don't think I distracted him from his book while I took this blipfoto?

Taking this made me think of Andre Kertesz's photo project 'On Reading' which I saw at the Photographers Gallery in London in 2009.
Maybe I'll buy the book now...
