Crocii

I got some macro lenses yesterday and dashed out to take a few photos with them. Not the easiest thing I've done - especially focussing - and the light needs to be terrific and it's best if you use a tripod. All that said, I got these in not very bright sunlight hand held.

The best bit for me was seeing a honey bee visiting just beforehand so I suppose that is why the pollen is disturbed.
