TAKE A LOOK AT THIS................

There were a few choices today, but when it came down to it, it had to be this - take a look at the weather.....the best day for a hell of a long time. This morning Doug and I went off for a walk along the side of this Salt Water Creek, and one of the first things we noticed was the birds singing, they were also happy and enjoying the magnificent day. It has been hot all day, did some tiding of the roses and a bit of cutting back but have left the lawns until tomorrow.

Timaru is on the right hand side of the meandering water, we live on the rural side, just a stone throw or two away.

We had a very successful Macro workshop - 20 people, including four new members. We were very busy helping and I never took a picture until
the end of the evening when they had nearly all gone home. Four of us enjoyed a chat and a hot drink to complete the evening.

Back and eyes feeling a bit better, thanks for your thoughts.

Just heard that St Mary's church here in Timaru and more buildings in ChCh have been closed because of recent earthquakes and deem unsafe. Holy moly!!
