Wai-iti Domain

Day one of the world-famous Stormy Pot cave expedition. I've been looking forward to this one for a while and spent a few (too many) nights getting ready for it. After a long drive from Christchurch we ended up here, nice and close to the copter staging area.

A drizzly-rainy fug pushed us into our tents in record time.
