Keeping an eye on things

There's nowt as queer as folk.
Sometimes I find people tricky to understand. I can't quite understand their flash points or their issues.
One thing I am realising is that if you live with a bloke you have to ensure you've got a thick skin. They call it banter and tell you to lighten up and laugh about it. On nights like tonight I'd just call it plain mean.
I'd prefer not to have to wear armour when I'm at home but it seems I'm going to have to be careful. Where did all the nice, kind, lovely people go?!
