Exit in a blaze of glory
Fiery sunset tonight. Stabbing the textured sky with an array of golds, greys, purples and fluorescent orange - the cloud over bristol beaming back from an electrically bright horizon.
However - even though I grabbed some excellent sky snaps - I was more pleased with this 'texture', zooming through a pub forecourt willow, through to the sensational solar show happening behind.
Trees and sky. Not appreciated enough - well trees anyway - people praise to the skies - but the long-suffering trees? Especially in the city - which reminded me of a favourite piece of one line whimsy. The quote is American - but the message I think is pretty universal...
"Suburbia: where they tear out the trees & then name streets after them."
