I don't like zoos very much. But Twinblips wanted to go and to be fair most of the enclosures at Edinburgh Zoo seem to be a reasonable size and the animals look reasonably happy. And the zoo is doing a lot for conservation.

We then went to the National Museum of Scotland which is an excellent place to spend a few hours.
