Primrose -- macro lens, maiden voyage

My new macro lens arrived today. I have much to learn. And for once, the instruction manual has very little information (it's only thick because it's printed in 19 languages - really!). Guess I need Macro for Dummies. Many of my shots were blurrier than I think they should be

I do think I'll need to use the tripod more (this shot was with a tripod and self-timer). Which means I need to learn how to use that too! Tripods for Dummies...?
