Finnieston crane

I was down at the riverside at Finnieston today. This crane was built to lift locomotives onto ships for worldwide delivery.

Built in 1932, the crane is over 50m high and could lift 175 tonnes in it's day, the crane is now a monument to Glasgow's industrial heritage
