Waverley

An early morning view of the Calton Road entrance to Waverley Station.

Lots of work going on at the station just now, including replacing the glass on the roof. I came out of this exit last week, where some of the new roof is, and actually being able to see the sky from inside was impressive. When the whole project is completed it'll transform the place - imagine pulling into Edinburgh and actually being able to see the rain!

Also saw the other day that Waverley is one of the last places to allow vehicles in the station and that will change too - pack light unless you want to drag your cases up to street level!
