Yellow pool

A good day today at work and a pleasant drive home through the almonds with a brilliant show of colour for a little while as the low sun shone between two peaks. The green of the sprouting grasses was stunning compared to the delicate pink of the blossom. I was a bit late by the time I could park the car anywhere safe and hop down the very narrow strip of land by the roadside. I got the last pool of sorrel anyway. I also missed a family of goats, with the kids leaping up an ancient olive tree. Maybe I'll have a chance to get some good shots next week as I have half term. A big list of other stuff to be done though.
