Taken by a drenched me, from Union Terrace Gardens in Aberdeen - currently fighting for their life from development.

The red brick spire (red brick is very unusual in Aberdeen as it is mostly made of grey granite) is called Triple Kirks. The spire plays host to Peregrine Falcons, who have nested there for the last several years - maybe longer. Sadly, due to developers planning a set of office blocks around the spire, they are to be 'moved on' for the foreseeable.
