Gruffalo

A story book character carved into a tree in Culloden in the lane between the shops and Culloden House. I nearly blipped instead another shot I took on my travels today. As I was descending the hill towards Culloden I noticed that although it was quite dull and cloudy the sun was shining very brightly on the bridge and a small part of Black Isle behind although most of the view was in shadow. Had to pull off and grab a shot expecting the sun to switch off at any instant but it held for long enough. And after getting a few groceries the rain started and cleared with a huge rainbow over the firth.
