Through the window, darkly

Christine and I arrived at her friends' daughter's cottage in Orbost in North Skye. (By the way, if you follow this link, don't think that we have walked this walk! It's just that there are some good photos of the cliffs and stacks we can see from the cottage).

Without their kind generosity in lending us the cottage, we would have had to cancel our photography course. Not another bed was to be had in Skye this week!

I was looking out of the cottage front window at the sea and the night sky; the reflection of the lamp and window in the opposite wall made for a curious effect. The strange object sticking out of the lamp is the aerial attached to the boat outside, if that makes sense.....
