Finished bottling the plums and bottled a few apricots too for good measure. Hopefully it'll be worth it when we open them to eat over winter. The colours alone should brighten the greyest of winter days.

Another unsettled day of rain and sun, but plenty to occupy us with inside. The girls and I cuddled up on the sofa and Murron insisted on lying on top of me. Not so comfortable these days, but it reminded me of the times I would settle on the sofa to catch up on some sleep when she was a baby - her tiny little body curled up into itself, her little fists gently kneading my jumper - it almost made me broody. Almost (although I could quite possibly be persuaded..........)



Sorry I know I am neglecting blip a lot and seem to be constantly playing catch up - life and all that. My email is down too, so to all those who read this and to whom I owe some mail - soon I promise :)
