Infra Red Bluegum

Oh The sun is shining and The Boss needs the sun for his IR project on the gum tree by the stile on the Mt Iron track. So straight after grub we get to go but WAIT?His SLR camera battery is pancaked.. Rush up stairs and pop it on the charger and stall for 30 mins. Reboot! Start again Oh The sun is shin??.
Oh alright we get to Peter's and he want's to talk. How can he do this while The Tree is waiting.. Not The Tree? The Other Tree (gum) OK. Look out the window. CLOUDS. Oh No? more talking and finally off we go. Almost perfect conditions except 2 SUV's parked in the frame. (*&^%$$^!! Anyway take a test shot which is great. Will return at lunchtime. Problem (have I mentioned this before) I don't do lunch.
This is the result of all this fuss. Please rate it madly if you think all this fuss was worth it. Me.. It's just a tree. Had coffee with the DIG group after which was the best bit. I had to stay in the Jim in the shade. The local coffee dives don't do dogs like they do in the USA. Sigh!
