Packing

Today was a gorgeous day outside with not a cloud in sight. You could really feel spring coming although I think it is still a bit too early to say so. I managed to pack up the last box of things I'm taking to the Vernon Antique show my Mom's doing this Friday. Ava had a half day at school as they are doing parent teacher interviews. We had our interview today with the teacher and Ava is doing very well in school. She is exceeding expectations in reading and is reading at level 14 with ease already. At the end of grade 1 they expect them to be reading at level 10.

This little vase on the left is from Czechoslovakia and is dated from between 1918 to 1928. I love the picture of the women, especially the one hiding the hunting bow behind her back. The owl is from Santini and the vase in the back is from Blue Mountain Pottery.
