My first Zambian wedding

One of my best friends got married today. We met whilst studying in Scotland. God provided us for each other and our friendship goes beyond distance and being on totally different sides of the world. I even got to play a role in the bridal party..not a role that I have ever been (or heard of!) before. I was the knife girl. I dance bringing in the knife to cut the wedding cake (cakessss actually... 15 of them. They are in the background). I would've been one of the bridesmaids but they practice a dance weeks before the wedding as the opening number at the reception and that would've been a lot of pressure before the wedding. I'm just grateful she even considered giving me a role in her party :))
