Stars
We did star trails at the camera club tonight and I learned a lot. This is probably the best of the bunch and was enhanced by a car driving by and lighting up the shoreline of Loch Tarf. We were given a tutorial at the beginning of the session and one of the suggestions was to switch off the in-camera noise reduction to save battery life. I didn't find out how to do this until halfway through and the images taken after it was switched off (including this one) are very 'noisy' with loads of odd coloured splashes and speckles. Another thing I learnt was to be more patient! If I had left this another couple of minutes they would look more like trails than blurs. Anyway I enjoyed the session and will definitely have a go on my own sometime.
