About two months ago, he fell down a flight of stairs while doing some carpentry work and injured his foot. Today was the first day he could be out of his wheelchair. I took full length photos, but unfortunately, my shadow is in all of them (poor photography by yours truly).

So instead you get a cropped version of this all-around nice guy who lives in the apartments next door.

Be careful on those stairs and watch out for shadows :-)
