Drama at sea

It was carnival day today in Hartlepool, so 13 of us went to the Headland to watch it and then go on the Fun Fair. We watched the Carnival procession and then sat in the gardens and had Fish & chips from Verrills. While in the gardens I noticed the lifeboat going past the Fish Sands at great speed, so I was off with my camera to investigate. As I got to the Pilot Pier I noticed this small fishing boat extremely close to the rocks, and at this point the Inshore lifeboat arrived on the scene. They collected a rope from the bigger lifeboat and then slowly and carefully gave it to the stricken fishing boat. Once evrything was secure, they slowly pulled the small craft away from the danger of the rocks and then took it safety in the harbour.
Considering the poor weather, we had a very good day at the carnival and the fair, all 5 boys were shattered.
