Over Cooked

There is an office block near Queen's Cross of fairly recent construction. It was built maybe five years ago, it does not fit in with the older buildings around it, and to be honest I don't much like it.

The other day when I was passing by I noticed the underside of the roof is illuminated in the evening. Suddenly I thought it actually looked quite nice by night.

This evening I went back to take a photograph after dark. I thought the photograph came out quite well. Then I started playing around with it in photo processing software. Not sure I like this, in fact I think I prefer the original as it came out of the camera. Just goes to suggest, sometimes it is possible to take a perfectly good image and then overcook it.

Sunny and 8 degrees today. Is it too soon to hope we might get through the winter with no snow? Yes I suppose it is.
