Stamen

This was a bunch of tulips from Sainsbury's that has seen better days. So I took some pictures of the fully opened heads with the stamen now fully visible. Stamen look a bit rude don't they, a bit erotic even? Anyway............
PS: Is the plural of stamen, stamen or stamens. Stamenii?
