Goose Girl

It was two Canada Geese who accompanied my lunchtime walk by the canal today - a rather blurry picture but the best one of the two of them, they were moving quite fast! I've always found Canada Geese a bit sinister, especially when they travel in their large flotillas, but recently I've come to appreciate their ability to work in community. The ones on the water today seemed to be pairing up; this and the longer days suggest that spring is really on its way.
