Last of the Snow

It was really warm today, the weather is seriously confusing me!

Went for a lovely little run this 'morning' (I left just before 12...). Headed along the canal and then down to Craiglockhart Dell. Sat for a while in a little spot by the river which was lovely.

Decided it would be a good idea to take my trainers off so I could cut across the river, didn't work out as well as I had planned... Water was frozen but since it was such an unseasonally warm day I didn't really mind but the current was quite fast and there wasn't really anything to hold onto so in the end I just gave up. (I have some cuts on my foot though :( ) Also ended up scrambling up a muddy bank but then came out at Craiglockhart and ran home through the Craiglockhart Hill nature reserve, which was nice.

After lunch and a shower I headed into town to meet up with a friend I've not seen in a while. :)
