Love is in the growth

The cacao we planted a couple weeks ago is starting to take off. It's so exciting to see tiny plants emerging from the seeds.

A mellow Valentine's for me. No chocolate, no flowers...except for the sprouting cacao and the ornamentals in the garden! Went to see The Descendents at the historic theatre with several farm folks. It's interesting to see it having been in Hawaii this last month, though I would say the Hawaii represented in the movie is pretty narrow in scope and quite unlike my experience. I do like looking at Clooney though.
